We started working on this feature. This will be an implementation of AWS AppSync managed, serverless GraphQL service. Stay tuned for the progress!

PostMan, Apollo and GraphQL Playground make exploration of the schema and queries enjoyable and easy. GraphQL is very nice for consumers, but the back-end implementation becomes more complex and sometimes a little ugly. A thought: it would be nice to auto-create a GraphQL endpoint over a collection of existing REST endpoints as well as DB tables/view/queries/stored procs. ie: an editor that would allow you to map these existing artifacts to a nice GraphQL endpoint, with auto-magic like pagination, filters etc auto-generated. So, compose a GraphQL endpoint. Perform all the calls to the other artifacts on the server, then return the GraphQL response. That would be killer.

Its crazy how quickly this request grew from nowhere. We will most likely work on this feature after we deliver the PostgreSQL database feature. :)
